Just for anybody's information, I found a Mirabeau B. Lamar listed as being in Harris Co., Georgia, in 1832 - July 21, 1832, to be exact - at a 4th of July celebration and he was one of the gentlemen who offered a toast. The only reason I noticed it is because I have a Lamar line myself, but my Lamar connection was my gg grandmother, Mariah/Maria Lamar from SC to DeKalb Co., AL. I know nothing else about this man.
