In my research of the Knickbocker Theater Disaster, I located a group photograph of the Washington, DC, Riggs Athletic Club/Western High School Baseball Team c. 1921.
In the photo are Spencer Hart, Henry Lamar, David Lyman, Kirkland Duke, John Hill, Fendall Alexander, Howard Garrett, Eugene Carusi, Jan Lamar and Harvey Dunlop. All the boys appear to be about 15-16 years old.
David Lyman and Kirkland Duke were killed in the disaster. I'm told that Henry Lamar became a prize fighter.
