Lucius Mirabeau Lamar, II (of Georgia, and later of Mexico) was the grandson of Jefferson Jackson Lamar of Georgia, whose brother was Lucius Quintus Cincinatus Lamar. So Lucius M. Lamar, II was the grand-nephew of L.Q.C. Lamar.
