The stories of five illustrious Lamars are covered, including two U.S. Supreme Court Justices, the second President of Texas, and two Civil War blockade runners.
I tell about how I found "The Fishing Place", Thomas Lamar's 1700's home on the Patuxent River in MD, as well as some brief stories about a few other Lamars.
