I am looking for descendants of Mirabeau B. Lamar who was Vice President of the Republic of Texas on October 3, 1836 in Columbia, Texas. We are dedicating a beautiful park with 20 historical stations, native plants, seal of the Republic, and walking path to the history that happened at that time in Texas. Would love to have descendants of Mirabeau B. Lamar to attend the dedication of the "Capitol of Texas Park - A Walk through the Birth of Texas" on April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m.in West Columbia, Texas.
