My name is Mary Jane (Meroney) Taylor in Texas. I am very close to proving that my mother, who was a Roberts who descended from the Lamars, and my father who was a Meroney, had a common ancestor, Mareen Duvall.
My proof depends on my absolute assurance that Mary Lamar b 1731, m Ellis Marcus was the daughter of John Lamar b 1693 and Susanna Duvall Tyler b 1700.
I found Mary Lamar, daughter of John Lamar and Susannah Tyler in the Extracts from Harold Dihel LeMar, History of Lamar/Lemar in America, but without dates of birth marriage, and death as well as other important information I can not verify this relationship.
Can you help me to confirm this necessary information about Mary Lamar or direct me to where I can find the information? I am a member of the DAR if that will help me access the resources.
