Hello, I'm researching this family for a friend. Looking for the ancestors of John LAMAR, born ca. 1815 in Kentucky. Per the 1880 census his parents were born in Georgia. John married Mary _____ in the 1830s and had at least these children in Tennessee, approx. birthdates: William B., 1837; Thomas Wilson, 1839; Larkin Samuel, 1840; John Wesley, 1843; Allen, 1846; George W., 1848; Mary, 1850; Sarah, 1852; James E., 1854; Tyro, 1857; and Robert, 1860. John Lamar is last found in the 1880 census of Maury Co., Tennessee. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe Collins
