Mystery of Harry LaMar-Buried Memorial Park Cem. Indiana

I searched for years to find the place my 1st Gt. grandfather, Asa Mayhugh Jr. was buried. I finally found out he is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana. I also found out via a call to the cemetery that Asa's wife, Mary F. Mayhugh, was also buried there. Here is where the mystery come in about Harry LaMar.

I was told Mary F. Mayhugh came to the cemetery, in person, to arrange for Harry LaMar to be buried in the plot between Asa and herself. My thought is Harry LaMar had to be very important person in Mary's life. Asa died 1937, Harry died 3 Sept 1958, Mary died 1966.

On the 1880 Census, Center, Gibson Co., Indiana I found a Hary Lamar living in the household of Wm. & Emma Skelton. Relationship: Other. Harry is shown to be 19 years old. Harry therefore would have been born about 1861 (1880 census minus 19 yrs. = 1861). IF this Harry on the census is the same Harry buried in Memorial Park Cemetery he would have been about 87 years old when he died (1958 death date, minus 1861 ASSUMED date of birth).

On the 1930 Census of Center Twp., Marion Co., Indiana Mary is shown as 52 years old (1930 census minus 52 = Mary born 1878). On the SSDI the only Mary F. Mayhugh is shown b. 13 May 1874 & d. 15 June 1966. That would have made Mary 56, not 52, on the 1930 census.

If Harry Lamar was born in 1861 & Mary born in 1874 they were born abt. 13 years apart. Again, if Harry born in 1861 is the same Harry, buried between Asa and Mary,it is impossible Harry is Mary's father (because only 13 yrs. separate their births). Maybe Harry is Mary's brother?

Any clues as to who the Harry LaMar is that is buried between Asa & Mary Mayhugh (maiden name unknown) is greatly appreciated.

This is long but wanted to suppy all info. I have on this mystery.
