Madison County marriage records show Banks Jenkins, 24, farmer, married Clarinda Thomas, 22, on 4/13/1868. His parents are Larkin & Sally Smith Jenkins (m. 10/23/1828); her parents are Churchill & Nancy Jenkins Thomas (m. 7/14/1828).

1900 Page County census shows Banks Jenkins, 59, day laborer; wife, Clarinda, 54; married 33 years; 15 children, 6 survive: Mollie J., 20; Mary C., 18; Boston, 16; Rebecca S., 14; Walker F., 11; & Lucy G., 8.
