Dear Thomas Thornton,
My name is Brian Fitzgerald Lally and my great grandfather was John Lally, Inventor and Founder of The Lally Column Company... I am currently on a vacation in San Francisco - but I know my Mom still has a book on Lally History as well as a book about the history of The Lally Column Company... Ironically, my father's sister, Catherine has a daughter named Ann (my cousin) married a man by the name of Taige Thornton. My great grandfather John lived and was buried in a town called Tuam - in the outskirts of County Galway.. If I can be of any help to you in your search just let me know..
