Hi.

I'm looking for any information anyone might have regarding my gr-gr-grandfather, Simon P. Lakin. I don't know where he was born, but he was a doctor who lived in Maine and ended up raising a family in Sangamon County, Il. His daughter, Elizabeth Lakin Agnew Holt is my great grandmother. I'm guessing Simon was born in the late 1800's. There are Simon lakins listed in Groton MA vital records, but they were born way too early. I'm particularly curious about who Simon married and her family tree.
