Hi Kim, Re finding the baptisms of your Lakeys, I think they may be found on the Kingsbridge Non Conformists Chapel registers. I found John, baptised 8 Feb 1831, son of William and Jane Lakey also a bap. for Ann on 24 July 1839, Dau. of Wm. and Jane Lakey. There may also be a brother of these two called Francis b.1850.

Re the Mary Jane age 23 on the 1881 census, she is definitely the daughter of Francis and Mary(Mudge) Lakey as she is on my pedigree. As Stephen, says she went to Australia.
