Johnson Lake connections correction

Since posting this message and further digging, I have reason to believe that I was confusing Johnson Lakes:
I had listed as s/o John Lake and Mary McCashland, "my" Johnson Lake [b. abt 1784 in NEW YORK- died after 1850 in prob. ILLINOIS] and [m. to Mary Willis in Claridon, Geauga Co., OHIO]

I believe the s/o John & Mary (McCashland) Lake is actually:
Johnston/Johnson Lake [b. 1816 in VIRGINIA and d. 15 July 1884 in Warren Co., VIRGINIA].
All of the census records I am finding for this Johnston/Johnson Lake are in Warren Co., VIRGINIA, as are those for his father John (1771-1854) Lake & mother(?), Mary McCasland (1780-1853) (John - some Fauquire Co.,VA, too).

I am back to square one on "my" Johnson [1784 NY - 1850]. I will post more on that when I figure it out.
The only true clues to a "time-line" so far are found in 1850 census - Johnson & Mary's children:
Lucretia born abt 1821 OHIO, Elisha 1823 OHIO , Eliza b. abt 1825 in Claridon, Geauga, OHIO, "my" Esther Ann b. 1835 in OHIO, Solomon Wicksum 1835 in OHIO and Sarah b. Missouri or Illinois(?)
I am not sure where I found the information, but have that Johnson Lake & Mary willis were m. abt. 1823 in Claridon, Geauga, OHIO.

My apologies for any confusion!

God bless,
Freda
