The online Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid is useful. James Lake is a very common name but I did find 14 combinations of Irene Lake in Ontario Cemeteries . If you know the approximate location in Ontario, that will narrow down the results. Not all individuals are on this finding aid, but a lot are. It does help with those individuals who died after the online death records on Ancestry.ca and .com.
