I am up to that stone wall and can't get over it. HELP!
Has any one come across John H. Lake b. 1820/21 in CT.
M. Margaret J. (Unknown).
John was a Boatmen and a Cooper (ship's carpenter).
They had three sons:
Cassidy W. Lake b. 10/22/1846/1848 NYC, NY d. 3/28/1927 Connelly, NY;
John H. Lake b. 9/23/1853 NYC, NY d. 3/6/1883 Kingston, NY;
Charles Henry Lake, Sr. b. 9/1854 NYC, NY d. between 1900 & 1910 Bridgeport, CT.
My 12 marker Y-DNA says I relate to Thomas Lake of Stratford, CT.
Can anyone help? I need to find the parents of John H. Lake, Sr. & where in CT was he born.
