I am searching for information on Job Lake and his wife Mercy {Hefferman} Lake who lived in Tiverton, Rhode Island in the mid 1700's. Their daughter Desire married Durfee Springer. Following their marriage on October 6, 1784 they lived in Tiverton until moving to Rensselaer County, New York. They eventually moved to Sayles Corners outside Sempronius, New York where they are both buried. A Daniel Lake, who appears to be Desire's brother, is also buried in the cemetery. Both Daniel Lake and Durfee Springer were Revolutionary War veterans.
