Professor E. R. Lake
Posted by: Patricia Hennage (ID *****6613) Date: July 22, 2008 at 12:29:25
  of 2878

I found a medallion that was worn on a chain.
ON the medallion is a ornate design and written on it is:

E. R. Lake
Corvallis, Oregon
1889

On the back of the medallion is *O. A. C.*

After searching the internet, I found that E. R. Lake was
a professor at Oregon State Univ. He was a botanist at the
college and he started the Foresty Dept there. Any one who
knows of this person or is a relative please let me know.
I can send you a picture of the medallion. It was found in
Culpeper, Virginia.

I found on the internet that he transfered to the Wash Dc
area in 1910 and worked with Nut Trees..
