Lanson LAKE: Both year of birth ca 1804 and state NY are consistent in Federal Census from 1840 thrugh 1870. There is a Lanson LAKE listed in the Schoharie, Schoharie NY 1830 Federal Census; there is also a Lanson Lake listed as a grocer in the 1830 Albany City directory. At this point I am assuming that the Lanson LAKE above is the one I want. I have a great deal of information about Lanson LAKE, from 1830 through 1870. It is based on these items: His birth year is consistently ca 1804; his birth state is NY; his occupation is a confectioner; he is found on these Oswego, Oswego, NY censuses: 1850 Federal, 1855 NY State,1860 and 1870 Federal Censuses. Unknown l. Lanson LAKE's Place of birth, parents, sibs. 2. hisdate and place of death, when and where buried. 3. Wife’s name, place of birth, parents, sibs. . Is there anyone who can help? Thanks N.
