Ralph Lake, son of David and Jerusha Lake, was born in Albany, NY, in 1799. In 1826 he married Miss MARIA DOOLITTLE, daughter of Uriand Cedida Doolittle, of Stratford, CT. They have five living children. He came to Oneida Co.,NY with his parents, and remained there until 1826, when he removed to Perry, Wyoming Co.,NY. In 1833 he came to Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY and settled on lots 57 and 58 Ogden tract, buying seventy acres.
