I just found all the posts for James Laird born 1769 Ireland. I guess I have been posting all my queries on the wrong websites. I HAVE A PICTURE OF HIS GRAVE MARKER. He is my 5th gr grandfather on my mothers side. The following is some of the info I have:
JAMES LAIRD (possibly Leard, Lard, Lord) b. Feb 2, 1770 Ireland, died Oct. 20, 1862 Marshall Twp. Highland Co., OH, buried in the Presbyterian Church Cem, Marshall Twp, Highland Co., OH. His known children are: Elizabeth Laird b. 1806 PA (my line), Isabella Laird b. abt 1795 PA, Thomas Laird b. abt 1813 PA.
The info I have on this family is very sketchy and hard to find but I do have a little more to share. If anyone can add to what I have here and if I can help, please contact me at the email address below. I live in Arizona so I cannot do lookups, if anyone lives in or around Highland County OH and can help, all that are related to this line would appreciate it.
