John Bradford Lair s/o Thomas Hardin married Frances C. Adams

John B. and Frances C. married 28 JAN 1858 Wayne Co. KY
On 1860 census they had one child, Thomas age 1. On the 1870 census John B. is not in the family, Frances is head
with 5 children. I haven't found John B. since. Civil War register shows John Lair a deserter, but no record of him? There are a lot of Johns. Finally found Frances on 1900 census Lincoln Co. it says she had 11 children??? Anyone out there? Please help me at hyhen@earth-comm.com
