-i have civil war letters of george lair (born 1840) to his father robert (born 1810)
-also letters from george to his wife mattie
-the letters trace george from bethel missouri , to ark, to texas
-he is an officer in the 11th mo calv
-it appears the wife george writs to during the war is different than the wife he writes to in the post war letters
-there are also post war letters
-he also helps in the disbandment of the bethel colony in 1879
-also there is another george f lair born 1881
-i believe george f lair is my mothers father
-the letters would have more meaning if we had more information of there background
-any information of the LAIR back ground from bethe,bethel township,shelby county,missouri would be help full
