Mathias Lair b. abt 1767 VA m. Elizabeth Allen(my son's line)
Margaret Lair m. Jacob Kester Oct 1, 1781 Rochingham Co VA
Ferdinando/Ferdinand Lair b. about 1760 married Oct 15, 1782 Susannah/Hannah Custer Rockingham Co VA

Johan Ferdinand Lehrer was a cousin to Mathias Lehrer the Immigrant. When Ferdinand died in 1768 VA he gave guardianship to his cousin Mathias. So your Margaret who married Arnold was the daughter of Mathias and the Margaret who married Jacob was a cousin who he was guardian over.
