Hello Everyone,
This is going to be a long search, but here goes. My Dad's father was adopted by the Holson's in Missouri around 1915. I am looking for my grandfather's real family. Elija and Rose Lair were his birthparents. Elija was killed in a railroad accident around 1919 in Missouri. Rose (maiden name CHURCH) later married into the Brazil family. That's about all I know. Boy is this going to be a long journey. Any help would be fantastic.
My Grandfather's 2nd wife threw away all of his family history after he died in 1980, so I'm starting from the beginning.
