William and Nancy Lair of Orange County, NY

I am trying to piece together the Lair family of Orange County, NY. William Lair was born to Adam and Maria Youngs Lair on 10 Oct 1790 in Orange County. He married Nancy Seas (b. abt. 1792 Orange County), daughter of John and Anna Creswell Seas, on 4 Nov 1815. I believe their children to be as follows:
John Theron Lair b. 1816 m. Sarah Thomson
Absalom Cahill Lare b. 1818 m. Phoebe Deyo
David Alfred Lare b. 1819 m. Maria Smith
Mary Ann Lare b. 1822 m. William Ledgerwood
William Harvey Lare b. 1825 m. Mary Palmatier
Nancy Jane Lare b. 1828 m. Samuel Brown
Harriet E. Lare b. abt. 1832 m. Herman Clark
All children through Jane were born in Orange County, NY. Harriet is said to have been born in Ontario County, NY.

With the exception of John, who stayed in Orange County, the family migrated to Yates County, NY. William and Nancy were in Potter, NY. Absalom and David went to Italy Hill. William Harvey was in Barrington then Weston, Schuyler County, NY. Mary Ann was in Potter and moved to Town of Seneca, Ontario County, NY after her marriage. Harriet married in Italy Hill and moved on to various towns in Steuben County, NY. Nancy Jane was in Italy Hill and went to Barrington and later Dundee, NY.

According to census records, Nancy Seas Lair was the mother of eight children. This leaves one unaccounted for.
I have documentation to prove that William H. and Harriet were siblings, and that Jane was a daughter of William Lair, but I cannot confirm their relationship to William and Nancy.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I believe I am on the right track, but proving my beliefs is tough.

Thank you for your time.

(Note: All children born after John Theron spelled their surname LARE. Their father, William, stayed with LAIR.)
