Have you figured who the parents of Jacob C were? In 1810 They were also enumerated with others in my family, The Rockwells, Meads, and others. Addison County Vt, These all came orginally from Conn to Mass then to Vt. Bristol Twnship page 5 of eight.Jacob Lair 1-2-0-1-0 0-0-0-1-0-
In 1813 for some reason they were writen up in Franklin County Highgate township.
I pulled up the census records for 1820. Maddison Twp, Scioto Ohio Page 1 Not coming up when you list him for a search but he is there two families above Benjamin Lair.
