I have in my tree the family of Margaret Laidlaw and Ernest Sturridge with the following children, listed in the 1901 England Census: Amelia, Kathleen, Elsie, Arthur, Frank and Elaine. Arthur and Frank were twins. Ernest was a dental surgeon, born in Jamaica. Margaret was born in America but was a British subject. Except for Elaine, who was born in London, the other children were born in Jamaica.

If this family looks familiar, let me know.

Best wishes,
Jan Mulligan
