Dear Pat,My husband is a descendant of Isabella Rutherford Laidlaw. She did not die in Scotland but in Grey Co. Ontario. She and her husband Robert Laidlaw are buried in West Bentinck Presbyterian Cemetery. This is just outside of Elmwood (nr Hanover) Concession 10 Sideroad 10. This is halfway between C9 & C10.
Walter(d Oct.22,1895 age 62yrs) m. Mary Ann Laidlaw (d Mar. 05,1910 age 73 yrs.) who was also in the same area.They are also buried there along with their son Adam R.(1880-1939)who was the last to be buried in this cemetery (Photos -1994)
Isabel m. a Mr.Neal & it is claimed they went to Minn.
Jean m. Thomas Clark. They're buried in Chesley just north of Elmwood.
I have no info for Thomas yet.
Robert m. Jennet Watt Hastie - not Hastings.They're buried in West Bentinck. Their daughter Mary Ann is my husband's grandmother.
