This Isabel's mother was named Isabella Rutherford and did died in Scotland in 1872 on Christmas day. She married Robert Laidlaw May 21, 1826. they had the following children: I believe they were all born in Scotland
Walter Rutherford who left Scotland in his late teens, he was the first of the clan to come over and settled in Canada
He married Mary Ann Laidlaw on March 18, 1870 in Ontario. I guess they were cousins. I don't know for sure.
Isabel (Ms. Neal) there is no other information on her.
Jean who married Thomas Clark of Hanover, Ontario
George who went to Illinois
Thomas no other information on him
Robert who married Janet Hastings.
