My paternal grandfather, Marcellus Augustus Lahr (Lohr) made children's furniture for his niece, Edna Lahr (Lohr), and I was told that he'd made quite a bit of her household furniture, which we were to receive on her death. Unfortunately, she fell into a schemer's hands and on her death, all was auctioned off.
Grandfather's family was originally from PA, then went to NY state. He died in 1929.
