I would like to get in touch with anyone researching the family of Valentine Lahr from Undenheim, Germany and Galena, Illinois. Two of his sons, August & Valentine, lived in Butler County, Iowa. Another son, John, lived in St. Paul, Minnesota. His daughters lived in Parkersburg, Harpers Ferry, and Guttenburg, Iowa. I have a lot of information on this family and would love to share it with other descendents.
