Thanks for writing.

I am descended from Louis Lahaie, son of Jean-Baptiste Lahaie and Marie Catherine Papineau. I believe you are descended from Louis' brother, Jean-Baptiste (junior) and Madeleine Marguerite Massey.

Louis married Monique Rollin, they had a son, Guillaume Lahaie who married Celina Gauthier, they had a son Guillaume Lahaie who married Julie Bourguignon, they had a son Jean-Joseph Lahaie who married Rachel Landry, and they are my great-grand parents.

I wish I had more information to share about your lineage, but unfortunately I don't.

What do you have beyond Jean Lahaie's parents Thomas Lahey and Catherine Williams in Ireland, if anything?

Do you know if Thomas Lahey was related to Sir Walter de Lahaye who lived in the 13th century in Ireland?
