I know Biddeford, Maine, is where some of my relatives are from. It is close to Fort Kent, West Casset, Lewiston, Brewer, Millinocket, area. This is where most of my family hail from. I have not heard of a Micheal Patrick Lahey, son of Charles Vernon Lahey. Do you have any info regarding Micheals' date of birth, etc. I have heard of a Charles Lahey family from Nova Scotia, that had many children, I believe this family settled in the Fort Kent area, (and migrated to surrounding towns) around 1850-1860. I have this family info put away. I haven't been able to directly link this family with mine yet. I believe they are related, due to the geographic area, name spelling, and dates in question. My great-grandfather, William Lahey was born around 1856, Fort Kent, Maine. I have a uncle who was named Patrick Lahey, and have several cousins named Micheal Patrick. (most Irish familys' name their children after direct ancestors or close family relatives). If you find out any details on Micheal Patrick or Charles Vernon, I would love to hear from you. Perhaps, it might shed some light on missing family links.
