Hi Patrick,
My paternal great-grandfather was William Lahey, born
Sept. 1856, Fort Kent,Aroostock, Maine. This is on the Canadian/Maine Border.
You haven't run across any "Lahey/Leahey" clan that immigrated around that time have you. Also, I show a Patrick Lahey born around the same time period and married in Maine (same area) Plus, I have a Nora Lahey and a Bridget Lahey,(married Morris Mansfied, 1900 in Lewiston,ME), both appear to be Canadian immigrants of Irish descent.
