I am looking for info,(specifically, parents and siblings) regarding my paternal great-grandfather,
William Lahey.
I know he was born around 1856, Ft. Kent, Aroostock, Maine and died around 1914, Millinocket, Penobscot, Maine.
I know he married an Canadian Immigrant named,Ellen Coote, around 1881, Ft. Kent, Aroostock, Maine.
They had the following children:
Mary Lahey
Matilda (Tillie) Lahey
William Lahey
Frederick Henry Lahey (my paternal grandfather)
Cornelius Sylvester (Neal) Lahey
Pearl (Pearlie) Matthew Lahey
Chester G. Lahey
In addition, I have located the following people that could possibly be brothers, sisters, cousins. (Same time frame and general area) They might help you determine if my William Lahey is anyway related.
As follows:
Patrick Lahey married Ermaline McCarty and Annie Condon, respectively, 5 jun 1894 and 25 jun 1912, Lewiston, ME.
Nora Lahey married John King, 4 may 1897, Lewiston,ME.
Mary J. Lahey married Joseph Roy, 3 mar 1905, FT. Kent, ME.
Mary A. Lahey married George C. MeLibby, 14 oct 1911, Lewiston, ME.
Bridget Lahey married Morris Mansfield, 14 Nov 1900, Lewiston,ME.
Please, oh Please, I have been searching for my great-grandfathers parents and siblings for eight (8) years. (literally) If anyone has family history or knows addtitional details, please email me ASAP.
