Roy,
Matilda who married John Carter is buried at Carter/Le-
grone cemetery at Morgan Spings,Perry Co., Al.
She was born August 30, 1823 and died May 23, 1907.
This info came from Dr. Judy Travis. She has a web page
geocities.com/Heartland/Hills/9365/index.html.
Don't believe everything Judy says. She purposely put
errors on each page so she would know is someone copied
it.
I hope this info is correct. I have tried and tried to
find the Carter/Legrone graves. But have had no luck. It
located somewhere off a logging road.
If you have any info about Matilda Legrone Carter let me
know.
