I'm just up the road from you in Town of Moreau.

I think this Peter Lafountain and Angelina Pelkey are buried in Ellenburg, NY Catholic Cemetery. I saw their gravestones when I was there last year photographing some of my own family. My maiden name is LaFontaine. These are not in my line but if I find any information on them in my travels I will forward it to you. I'm really familiar with Ellenburg because my ancestors on both sides came from there.

Peter was born in Canada, Angelina in New York. They had a very large family. Some sons and their families are also buried in this cemetery.

Here's what it says on their stones:

LAFOUNTAIN / (on base)
Peter / 1857 - 1942 /

LAFOUNTAIN
Angelina PELKEY / LAFOUNTAIN / Wife of Peter / 1866 - 1930 /

They had sons Fred, William, Charles, Henry, Frank, George and Isaiah. Both the sons William and Henry were born in the state of NY according to census records.
