Hi Sylvie,
I've known your grand-father - he was my grand-mother's brother. I even have a few photographs of him - with his brothers and sisters. I have seen his tombstone in Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix just two days ago. He is buried with his mother Henriette Guertin, his wife Thérèse Tremblay.
I also have a portrait of Ovide and his family, back in 1907. Did you know Ovide, your great-grand-father and mine, founded the village of Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix?
My grand-mother was Edna Lafortune, married to Daniel Major. The family name was Tellier dit Lafortune.
