Isaac Levan/Lafon fought under Bartholomew Heairt and was from Hesse Germnay he came to america with his regiment in 1778. He settled in part of Linlocn Nc that became catawba County .
His penison file is several pages long and one particular documnetw as drafted by My ancestor in1839 Moses Alexander wrote a very good petition on his behalf and men in Burke,Iredell and Lincoln signed it including many of my ancestors. I am suer that he taught many of my relatives in Catawba and Iredell county
