James Martin Lafon (1899-1970)of Creede, Colorado is my grandfather. He married Josephine Harbison. They were divorced then he married my grandmother Ruby LaVon Hansen 23 Jan 1926 in Ogden, UT. They had 5 children: Val Lyndon, James, Dee J., Dora Jane and Elizabeth Ann. James Martin is the son of James Harvey Lafon (1861-1923 IND) and Dora Jane Knapp. I am writing a family history and would love to have more information about these families, especially letters, biographies, photos if anyone has anything. Anyone know how James Harvey ended up in Ogden? I have Harvey's brother Don's book that provides some info but would like more.

Nicholas A. son of Richard II Lafon (1771-1824) and Anna Bondurant Maxey. Richard II son of Richard I Lafon (1742-before Feb 1772) and unknown Upshaw. Richard I son of Nicholas or Richard Lafon (abt 1721-49) and Elizabeth Streshly. Nicholas or Richard son of Francis I Lafon (abt 1697-1740) and unknown mother. Francis I son of James Lafon (abt 1677-1727) and unknown mother. James son of Rene Lafon dates unknown, married unknown.
