Would you be willing to share your LaFon family information? I have a great grandmother named Mollie Elizabeth LaFon (Abbott) - not sure where the Abbott comes in. She married P.L. Johnston July 19, 1885 and was listed as M.E. LaFon in that record. They lived in Bosque County, TX - Lone Oak is where my grandfather was born in 1890 and he says his mother was born in Texas in a later census. She was dead by the 1900 census. My grandfather was born Jan. 12, 1890. His father's name is Perry Lionides Johnston, b. Jan. 1853 in Georgia. Would appreciate any information.
