Hi Alene, I don't know Mary Jane's parents names. I think I saw a James Lafollete that had a son named George, and I'm thinking that George may have been related to Mary Jane, since they were born three years apart and were both born in Pulaski County in Missouri and both settled in Leon, Iowa. (brother-sister?? cousins??) And somewhere I saw a posting of a Mary Jane Lafollette from Kentucky, OR maybe she was born in Missouri, and was related to someone from Kentucky. In which case she could have been related to your branch of the family. (There sure are a lot of Lafollettes!!!) Once I really get into this, I'll find out how to search the county records for Mary Jane's birth certificate, which should give me something concrete to go on. I have found many postings of different Lafollettes which signify their parents names, but very few list their children's names, which makes it really difficult to trace female ancestors. Any way you could email a list of the names you have?? My email: firstname.lastname@example.org . Thanks. E. Hayes
