Jean ( John ) LaFollet was killed in Newtown N.J.( or around it) in or around 1760. According to family tree maker cd # 518 is where he left a will and some men he owed money to files a claim on his property that he owed money to. He was killed by the French-Indians that raided newtown nj. He didn`t die during the war with England. After that is when George and Joseph moved south into virginia. So far no one knows what happened to their other brother Charles. It is a good guess that he died before he had a chance to start a family here in the new world.George and Joseph both served in the army against the war with england. Joseph`s grave has a DAR marker on it. The cd has this wrote beside of John`s name: Lafollet,John 26s B.G. p.278 Int.1760 . Don`t know where George or William is buried but James is buried in Kokomo In. and Asbury (Asberry)and Sarah are buried in West Virginia. James Alonzo ( My Grandfather)is buried in Star Tannery Va with his wife Lilly. My father William La Follette Sr is buried there also close to his mom and dad. Uncle Phil will also be buried there when he dies, There are a bunch of La Follettes buried there in Hampshire County, Here is a web site of all the cemetery`s there in hampshire co W.V. As you can see after looking at the web page there are a bunch of them there. W.V. Thanks William La Follette Jr

John (Jean) La Follet was my GGGGG Grandfather
