Jack,
I have info on my LaFleur family moving to Greenfield, New Hampshire approx 1888, after Nelson died in 1887. They moved to Jaffrey, New Hampshire later.I have alot of info on them after the Jaffrey move.
There was a Nelson, Jr, but died at age 9 Months in New York.
There were Frank, Archie, Eliza, Laura, Josie, Bertha & Matilda----children of Nelson(Narcisse). Children born in Whitehall, NY----Troy, NY----New York City & Valleyfield, P.Q.
Info that I have is that Nelson was the son of Edmund Flowers, Edmund changed his name to LaFlowers when he married a French girl named Eliza. After that, I have different info on Nelson with the name Nelson/Narcisse LaFlowers & Nelson/Narcisse LaFleur---in addition to Nelson Flowers & Nelson Fields.
I don't see anything on any use of the Flora name, do you have any other relatives.
There was an Israel LaFleur in Whitehall, but was no connection to mine.
