Dear Carola,

I did not know your mother, but I knew her brother Ferdie very well. Ferdie was m. to Madia Foret. Madia was my Godmother's daughter. I remember how sick Madia was undergoing chemo for what I believe was liver ca. I really enjoyed seeing all their pictures in the Ardoin book.

The children who lived on North Coreil played with the children who lived on Laran St.

Sometimes we played in the pasture behind our houses and I remember playing football in Wade Soileau's yard and Conrad
accidently kicked me in the nose! Oh, that hurt! I knew Conrad's parents, Lester and Eudie, but not as well as I knew some of the others.

You were looking for the family of Thomas Teurling LaFleur?

I have one Teurling LaFleur, s/o Jean Sinea and Marie Elia Joubert. One of their sons, Alvin LaFleur, was the father of John Kent LaFleur. John Kent's wife, Carol Ann Smith and I exchanged family information many years ago. Carol Ann is the daughter of Joseph Leroy Smith & Margrettie Savant. Actually, we exchanged Savant information.

I was in VP from January 26th til February 5th. I stayed with my brother, Pete, who is 20-years younger than me.

Rosie
