Hi Ann,
Our family has been searching for the parents of our gr-gr-grandfather Amable Lafleur(b. ca. 1806 in St.Jean, Qué.) and we've been given a lead that it may be an Amable Lafleur and Adelaide Larrivé. Adelaide's father appears to be Charles Larrivé. When going through the LDS database, there is a marriage between Amable Meunier Lafleur and Olive Larrive(her father is Charles) in 1808 in St.Luc, Qué.
It's possible that it the same couple; which would mean our line runs into the Meunier Lafleur line. There is an Isaac Meunier Lafleur marrying Hélène Brault in St.Jean in 1831.
Also, there is an Amable Meunier Lafleur marrying Louise St-Aubin in Chambly, Que. in 1754. So, all that said, it's possible we're related to Gervais Meunier Lafleur. If you have any information that could confirm all this, please let me know. Thanks, Bob Lafleur
