Zachariah Laffoon was the son the George and Mahala (Averett) Laffoon, the grandson of James & Elizabeth E. (Burks) Laffoon.
Mahala Averett was the daughter of Zachariah A. Averett and Mary W. Tindall and was born in KY in 1808 married 28 Sep 1828 in Buchanan County MO to George (died in 1838), she then married Thomas McCracken on 4 Mar 1841 in Clay County, MO.
Zachariah Laffoon had the following siblings:
Elizabeth Ann Burks b: 16 Jul 1829 d: 10 Aug 1910
James Madison b: 1831
Preston Parker b: 1835 d: 19 Sep 1908
Sarah Frances b: 1837
Half Bros and Sis:
William b: 1842
Mary b: 1844
Lucy b: 1849
All born in Clay County MO.
Zachariah did marry Sarah Reams, but I don't when that was or any more information on him or his siblings. I hope that this helped you alittle anyway.
