Hi Laura, I have recently come across Laffey's in my family tree. My gggrandmother was Margaret Laffey, born 1871, daughter of Michael Laffey & Margaret Fahy. Michael's parents were Thomas Laffey & Bridget??. Annaghdown Parish is where they seem to be from although I dont know yet if this is the civil parish or Catholic parish or both.
Does any of this sound familiar to you?
