The Lafferty's were earlier from Scotland, via Dublin, Ireland. They are from the family of Ralph Lafferty, which can be found in Lyman Chalkley's "Scot-Irish Chronicles," - Augusta Co., VA. (Lots of info.) They are intermarried with the families of James Stewart, and William Stewart, also in Chalkley's books. Branches of these above families were intermarried before coming to America. The Stewart's later married into my Fuller family, in GA
