My great-grandparents were Hildege Hervieux (b.9/5/1871, d.1/21/1919) and Eugenie Laferriere(b.7/1870, d.3/13/1907) they lived in Lowell, MA.
The only information I have about Hildege Hervieux is that his parents were Francois Xavier Hervieux and Emelie Genereux both from Canada. I found him in the 1910 census after the death of Eugenie, with his 2 oldest children living with his brother-in-law Theophile Laferriere(b.1868) who was married to Leda(b.1872) ??? and their 6 children (Laura, Noe, Agnes, Anna, Clophas, and Amanda).
I have a death certificate for Eugenie Laferriere showin her parents were Norbert Laferriere and Julie Jubinville both from Canada. Theophile was obviously Eugenie's brother, and there is also a mention of another brother Norbert(b.1/1867) in the 1900 census in Lowell.
I also found a funeral notice among my grandfathers papers for an Ovida Tessier(b.9/1876, d.9/8/1939) , spouse of a Joseph Laferriere, who died in St-Felix de Valois Canada. I have no idea how she or Joseph Laferriere are related.
I would appreciate any help that anyone would have about the ancestors of Norbert Laferriere and Julie Jubinville, or any others in this tree.
